Nollywood star Annie Macaulay Idibia has issued a public apology after unintentionally endorsing a controversial post criticizing actress Regina Daniels.
The post, shared by Regina’s co-wife Laila Charani, contained explosive allegations, including claims that Regina had influenced Laila into drug use and same-sex relationships.
Laila’s lengthy Instagram rant accused Regina of nearly destroying her marriage six years ago, crediting her husband, Ned, for pulling her out of the turmoil.
Fans were taken aback when Annie’s Instagram activity showed she had liked the post, sparking speculation about her stance on the allegations.
Clarifying the situation, Annie insisted it was an accidental like while she was scrolling through the shocking claims against her close friend.
She reaffirmed her unwavering support for Regina, emphasizing loyalty as a non-negotiable value in their friendship.
Annie wrote:
“While reading the absurd accusations against my girl Regina, I accidentally liked the post.
Loyalty is everything to us, and Regina knows I stand by her no matter what.
Enough with the drama, please.”
