Darryl Granberry Jr., better known as DDG, has weighed in on the ongoing discussion about income potential in entertainment, offering insights from his dual career as a rapper and online creator.

In a candid streaming session with Nigerian internet personality Carterefe, the multi-hyphenate entertainer made a bold statement about revenue streams in the digital age.

“The numbers don’t lie—streaming outperforms music financially. Content creators are consistently outearning traditional artists these days,” he revealed during the broadcast.

The Michigan native transitioned from music novice to hip-hop contender after his 2017 breakout hit ‘Givenchy,’ which anchored his first major project, Take Me Serious.

His digital journey began earlier, launching his streaming presence in 2014 before making the pivotal decision to leave university and commit fully to content creation.
