Aisha Yesufu, a prominent Nigerian human rights advocate, has strongly condemned Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, for his inflammatory remarks endorsing “shoot-at-sight” measures.
Expressing her outrage via her verified X account on Sunday, Yesufu described Onanuga and his allies as the most dangerous elements in society.
The BringBackOurGirls co-founder emphasized that those targeted by the presidential aide’s violent rhetoric are already suffering under an oppressive administration driven by unchecked greed and corruption.

“The true criminals are those in power who plunder national resources while ordinary citizens struggle for survival under unbearable economic conditions
“Such reckless calls for violence expose the administration’s dangerous mindset and foreshadow what may come next,” she warned.
As previously reported by Amonpoint News, Onanuga had controversially advocated for lethal force against individuals accused of vandalizing public infrastructure on federal roads.
