Guinness World Records has officially recognized a groundbreaking event by Dapper Live & Artists—setting a new benchmark for Afrobeats with the largest live orchestra performance ever staged.
The historic milestone was celebrated across social media, with footage highlighting an electrifying fusion of Fuji icons King Saheed Osupa and KS1 Malaika collaborating with contemporary Afrobeats sensations.
The unprecedented achievement involved an 85-piece orchestra meticulously arranged by Dapper Live & Artists, redefining musical boundaries through a dynamic live orchestration of Afrobeats.
Hosted at Lagos’ renowned Balmoral Convention Center in December 2025, the event—aptly named “Trench Symphony: The Dapper Live Experience”—blended a conductor-led ensemble, dynamic vocalists, and vibrant dancers in perfect harmony.
This revolutionary showcase demonstrated the seamless integration of orchestral grandeur with Afrobeats’ infectious rhythms, captivating audiences with a one-of-a-kind musical synergy.
Joining the lineup were powerhouse performers such as T.I Blaze, Rybeena, Kashcoming, and Lasmid, alongside rising stars Heis Cazulee and Dwillsharmony, amplifying the show’s brilliance.
Spearheaded by industry maven Damilola Akinwunmi, better known as Dapper, the event further cements his legacy in music innovation—complemented by his close ties with record-breaking chef Hilda Baci.
