Nigerian artist Speed Darlington has stirred controversy yet again, this time tackling Africa’s religious practices and reliance on prayer in times of hardship.

Through a fiery Instagram clip, he raised doubts about why Africans persistently call upon the “God of Israel,” despite Israel itself depending on U.S. assistance during emergencies.

“Africans keep chanting, ‘God of Israel, God of Israel,’” he remarked. “Yet today, Israel is reaching out to America. Why didn’t their own deity step in?”

He further ridiculed the irony, saying: “Here we are, yelling ‘raka shaka, puskete, mima’ in prayer, while Israel sends out SOS signals. Africa, you’ve been outplayed.”

His sharp caption alongside the video emphasized: “Prayer alone won’t secure our future. We hold the keys to our destiny.”
