Nigeria’s dynamic forward Ademola Lookman shared an uplifting message with fans following the Super Eagles’ thrilling 3–2 triumph over Tunisia on Saturday.
Lookman delivered a standout performance, contributing two crucial assists and scoring a decisive goal to secure the Man of the Match accolade.
The victory propelled Nigeria into the round of sixteen, where they will face Uganda in a match carrying minimal significance for their campaign progression.
Since the tournament’s commencement, Lookman has been instrumental, also playing a pivotal role in Nigeria’s earlier success against Tanzania under coach Eric Chelle.
Reflecting on the hard-fought win against Tunisia, Lookman remarked, “We’re heading in the right direction. Our performance today was exceptional—both in the first and second halves, though they managed a brief rally with two quick goals.”
