Adekunle Gold has made history as the inaugural artist to completely fill the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts in Lagos, previously recognized as the National Theatre.
The Afropop sensation achieved this groundbreaking feat on Friday, December 26, 2025, packing every seat in the 3,560-capacity venue.
To commemorate this accomplishment, the singer received dual accolades on New Year’s Day—one honoring his unprecedented sell-out performance and another recognizing his management team and record label for orchestrating the landmark event.
The electrifying concert featured a special guest appearance by rap icon Olamide, alongside performances from legendary musicians Yinka Ayefele and Adewale Ayuba.
Expressing gratitude to his devoted fanbase via Instagram, Adekunle Gold shared: “2025 ended beautifully because of you all. Which city should witness the Fuji magic next?”
