Nollywood star Teniola Aladese has voiced growing unease over her safety in Lekki, Lagos, confessing she now avoids solo walks due to repeated harassment.

Speaking on the That’s What She Said podcast, she reminisced about the freedom she had in Magodo, where late-night strolls even at 2 a.m. felt completely secure.

“Magodo was my sanctuary—walking anytime felt natural. But here in Lekki, I’ve been stalked multiple times by unfamiliar men,” Aladese shared.

Narrating a terrifying incident, she added, “That day, divine intervention was my shield. After that, I invested in a treadmill—it’s safer indoors.”
