Nollywood star Regina Daniels has broken her silence after her close friend Ann was reportedly detained in Lagos under controversial circumstances.
Taking to Instagram Stories on Tuesday, the actress raised concerns about the legality of the arrest, suggesting it was connected to her ongoing disputes with ex-husband Senator Ned Nwoko.
Regina revealed the situation had escalated beyond initial domestic issues, with new allegations surfacing after she chose peaceful resolution over confrontation. She recalled previous drug-related accusations against Ann that were later dismissed without incident.
The screen star described a pattern of shifting accusations, questioning why her former partner continued to create drama despite his own successful career. She hinted at possessing undisclosed personal experiences but refrained from sharing them to avoid fueling what she called “attention-seeking behavior.”
Expressing frustration, Regina pondered the ultimate purpose behind the persistent public conflicts, while maintaining her concern for Ann’s wellbeing during the detention.
