Regina Daniels, a popular Nollywood star, has refuted claims of theft following escalating tensions in her marriage to businessman and politician Ned Nwoko.
Speaking candidly during a live broadcast, Regina asserted that Nwoko orchestrated the false allegations in an attempt to malign her reputation amid their marital rift.
The actress disclosed that not only had an arrest warrant been issued against her, but her family members were also implicated in the alleged theft.
She vehemently denied any wrongdoing, describing the accusations as baseless and malicious.
Regina dismissed the claim that $40,000 was stolen from her husband’s residence, arguing that Nwoko does not store significant cash at home.
She stated, “I’ve confirmed it—this is entirely Ned’s doing. There’s an active warrant against all of us, including me.”
“He alleges we took $40,000 from his house, but those close to him know he doesn’t keep such amounts there. How could this even make sense?”
