Nollywood star Nkechi Blessing fired back at an online critic who mocked her marital status.
The actress emphasized that despite her fame, she remains as human as anyone else.
In an Instagram clip, Nkechi challenged the notion that public figures should tolerate unwarranted attacks on their personal lives.
“Since when did fame become an open invitation for strangers to insult you? To ridicule your choices? To degrade you as if you’re less than human? Let’s be clear—I bleed the same way you do. Celebrity status doesn’t make me invincible,” she declared.
She dismissed the idea that her massive following elevates her beyond humanity, stating:
“Having millions of followers doesn’t strip away my humanity. This platform could vanish tomorrow—would my worth disappear? Absolutely not.”
Nkechi admitted she refuses to stay silent against cyberbullies, preferring to match their negativity.
“I play by one rule: energy in, energy out. People love highlighting reactions while ignoring the provocations. If you throw stones, don’t cry when they’re thrown back,” she warned.
The actress then exposed a shocking DM from a troll who branded her “pathetic” for her relationship history.
She revealed her fiery response:
“You can’t attack me anonymously and expect silence. Write nonsense? Receive nonsense. Suddenly, one clapback leaves you scrambling—yet you wrote paragraphs first.”
