Renowned Nollywood actress turned evangelist, Eucharia Anunobi, recently opened up about the distress and heartbreak she endured throughout her marriage to Charles Ekwu.
During an emotional interview on The Honest Bunch Podcast, shared via Instagram, Anunobi fought back tears as she reflected on the turbulent years of their relationship.
Anunobi directly challenged her former spouse, affirming the accuracy of her recollections.
“Charles Ekwu, if you’re watching, every word I’ve spoken is the truth,” she declared.
Despite early warnings from family members, she persisted in the marriage, clinging to the hope of reconciliation.
“I kept believing things would change. He promised to stand by me no matter what,” she confessed, her voice trembling.
She described the marriage as an emotional and financial drain, alleging that she bore the majority of the burdens.
“My parents warned me about him. I shouldn’t have ignored them. I was left handling everything—Charles never contributed,” Anunobi revealed.
