Bolaji Aleem

Renowned Yoruba actress Bolaji Aleem has bravely shared her harrowing childhood experiences of sexual abuse at the hands of older men.

The actress revealed she spent her formative years under her grandmother’s care, silently enduring the trauma while believing such violations were commonplace.

During an emotional interview with FeelRightNews TV, Aleem recounted how neighborhood predators would lure her into their homes while she worked as a street vendor between ages nine and ten.

Though these incidents occurred multiple times, she kept silent, fearing her grandmother wouldn’t comprehend the gravity of the situation.

As adolescence approached, Aleem recognized the predatory behavior of other local men and consciously avoided further exploitation.

“My youthful beauty attracted dangerous attention,” she confessed. “Men in their mid-thirties would invite me inside while I sold goods on the streets as a child.”

“These pedophiles violated me physically,” Aleem continued. “I can still picture two particular offenders who molested me and forced inappropriate contact.”

“The abuse occurred several times, but I remained silent, convinced such acts were normal. Living with my elderly grandmother, I couldn’t find words to explain what no child should endure.”

“When I reached puberty, other neighborhood men attempted similar advances, but by then I’d developed the awareness to refuse their advances and protect myself.”
