Nollywood legend Patience Umeh has opened up about why her fellow actress Chioma Chukwuka Akpotha typically avoids intimate scenes in movies.
Umeh shared this insight in a candid discussion on the popular Where Is The Lie podcast.
She explained that Chioma’s reluctance stems from her strong Catholic background and strict moral values.
“Chioma Chukwuka comes from a deeply conservative Catholic family. She’s always refused kiss scenes or romantic roles—I know this firsthand. She was raised as a devoted legionary and has always stayed true to her principles,” Umeh revealed.
Interestingly, despite Umeh’s claims, Chioma has portrayed romantic roles before, including a recent performance in Seven Doors, where she shared an on-screen kiss with actor Femi Adebayo.
