Former presidential aide Reno Omokri has declared that the Abuja-Kaduna highway is now far more secure than it was in previous years.
Speaking to journalists after visiting the road on Thursday, August 27, Omokri emphasized that the once-feared route has seen major safety enhancements during President Bola Tinubu’s tenure.
“I arrived here without any security escort, and I remain unharmed. Despite having numerous political adversaries who wish me ill, I am here to demonstrate that this road is now safe.”
Omokri noted the presence of military checkpoints positioned at regular intervals along the highway.
“The Abuja-Kaduna route is now secure. There are security posts every kilometre, and these military units are mobile. This improved safety isn’t coincidental—it’s the result of deliberate government efforts. The Tinubu administration has made significant progress here.” he stated
