Nollywood star Sarah Martins has sparked heated debates across social media with her bold stance on premarital intimacy, challenging traditional religious views.
The outspoken actress shared her unfiltered perspective in a viral Instagram video posted on November 8th.
Sarah questioned: “When a preacher claims ‘any man who pressures you for s*x before marriage is just a bicycle – wait for your Bentley,’ what if I’m actually the bicycle chasing a Bentley? As a passionate woman who commits fully, why should I enter marriage blindly without testing compatibility in every aspect?”
The actress continued: “I’m not about playing games – when I love, I love completely. How can I vow forever without knowing my partner intimately? I refuse to risk discovering incompatibility after saying ‘I do’ and potentially facing temptation later.”
“Understanding each other physically is just as crucial as emotional connection,” Sarah emphasized. “This outdated notion that men who initiate intimacy are somehow lesser makes no sense to me.”
She challenged conventional wisdom: “Whether you make a man wait ten years or ten minutes – if he’s meant to stay, he’ll stay. Lengthy waiting periods don’t guarantee lasting commitment any more than immediate intimacy predicts failure.”
“A man can patiently wait for years yet disappear after one night,” Sarah observed. “True commitment isn’t measured by delayed gratification but by genuine connection and mutual understanding.”
