Vee Iye

Reality TV personality Vee Iye has slammed comedian Seyi Law, accusing him of being an insensitive Nigerian who prioritizes personal interests over national concerns.

Her remarks came in response to Seyi Law’s controversial statement claiming kidnappings were prevalent long before President Tinubu took office.

During an appearance on the Honest Bunch podcast, Seyi Law argued that Nigeria is currently safer than it was a decade ago, sparking backlash.

The comedian insisted that security has improved under Tinubu compared to previous administrations, citing reduced bombings and increased counter-terrorism efforts.

“Nigeria is safer now than 10 years ago. This government has neutralized more bandits since Jonathan’s era.

“When was the last time you heard of a major bomb blast? Home kidnappings aren’t new,” he asserted.

Vee fired back on social media: “‘It’s not today that they’ve been kidnapping people in their houses’—classic words from a detached Nigerian who only sees what benefits him.”
