Blessing CEO

Renowned relationship coach Blessing Okoro, widely recognized as Blessing CEO, has verified the detention of her partner, high-profile auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna (alias IVD), at Lagos’ Murtala Muhammed International Airport on Friday, August 1.

IVD was reportedly apprehended by Lagos State’s Directorate of Public Prosecutions while preparing to depart for Qatar alongside Blessing.

Sources indicate his arrest relates to pending legal proceedings concerning the controversial passing of his late spouse, Bimbo Ogbonna. While unverified, reports suggest IVD was restricted from international travel pending the case’s resolution.

The late Bimbo tragically lost her life under disputed circumstances at their Lagos residence in October 2022, with allegations pointing to fatal injuries from a fire allegedly linked to domestic violence.

Lagos State authorities have formally charged IVD with involuntary manslaughter (Case No. LD/21055C/23).

In an Instagram statement today, Blessing maintained that IVD faces unwarranted harassment, contesting claims of any judicial travel restrictions. She emphasized his transparency regarding travel plans as evidence against such prohibitions.
