The iconic Nigerian musician opened up about his personal struggles as a father during a candid conversation on the Mic On podcast with host Seun Okinbaloye.

 2Baba IdibiaAfrobeat legend Innocent Idibia, famously known as 2Baba, has publicly reflected on his shortcomings as a parent in a rare moment of vulnerability.

The music icon, who fathers eight children across four relationships, shared these thoughts during a recent appearance on Seun Okinbaloye’s Mic On podcast.

2Baba expressed his desire to improve his fatherhood approach, highlighting the crucial role fathers play in shaping their children’s lives.

While acknowledging his past failures, he maintained that certain aspects of his personal life should remain private.

“My goal is to leave a positive impact on society. I want to be remembered for contributing something meaningful – for playing my part in making the world better.
“I haven’t been perfect as a father, and I know I can do better. Still, everyone deserves some privacy,” the musician confessed.

The award-winning artist shares two children with Sumbo Ajaba-Adeoye, three with Pero Adeniyi, two with ex-wife Annie Macaulay, and synchronous one with his current wife Natasha Osawaru.
