2Baba Idibia

Legendary Nigerian artist Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has opened up about the regrets and missteps that shaped his journey in music and relationships.

The award-winning musician made these heartfelt revelations during a recent appearance on the Mic On podcast.

The father of six reflected on pivotal moments in his life, acknowledging decisions he wished he had approached differently.

Addressing a widely publicized 2025 altercation in London with his wife, actress Natasha Osawaru, which led to his brief arrest, 2Baba took full accountability.

He described the incident as an emotional outburst that escalated beyond his control.

“That day, my emotions got the better of me. It’s something I deeply regret,” the African Queen crooner confessed.

2Baba spoke candidly about navigating personal struggles and the wisdom gained from life’s toughest tests.

He admitted that while hindsight offers clarity, managing pressures in the moment isn’t always perfect.

“If I could revisit certain chapters, I’d rewrite them differently. We’re all works in progress—my resilience isn’t what it used to be,” he reflected.
