Nigerian music icon Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2face, has publicly addressed the ongoing turmoil surrounding his marriage to Edo State legislator Natasha Osawaru for the first time since the controversy erupted.
Taking to his Instagram Story on Wednesday, the legendary artist shared a cryptic yet poignant message: “Help me.”
The post follows an earlier heartfelt plea from his brother, Hyacinth Idibia, who referenced lyrics from one of 2face’s songs, hinting at a troubling reality.
Hyacinth’s message read, “You’ve always been ahead, always been brilliant. Lyrics meant to inspire, yet they’re unfolding painfully in real time… Let us help you. You’ve endured too much. God knows.”
The unfolding drama comes after weeks of escalating tension between 2face and Osawaru, beginning with a reported altercation in the UK that allegedly led to police involvement and the singer’s brief detention.
Matters worsened during a heated Instagram Live exchange with media personality Daddy Freeze, where their dispute played out publicly, sparking widespread concern among fans about the state of their marriage and the artist’s well-being.
