The 2026 FIFA World Cup is set to break records with an unprecedented prize pool of $727 million, marking a historic milestone in football history.

Out of this staggering amount, $655 million will be distributed among the 48 teams competing for glory.

The winning nation will claim a monumental $50 million, the highest reward ever offered in World Cup history.

Runners-up will take home $33 million, while the third and fourth-place finishers will secure $29 million and $27 million respectively.

Teams placing between fifth and eighth will each be awarded $19 million.

Squads exiting in the Round of 16 will earn $15 million, and those bowing out in the group stages will receive $9 million.

Additionally, every qualified team will be granted $1.5 million to offset preparation expenses.
